One of the first generation modern senior clerks at the English Commercial Bar
Having spent half a century as one of the first generation modern Senior Clerks at the English Commercial Bar, I decided to set up David Grief International Consultancy (DGIC) in 2021.
My vision at DGIC is to leverage on my professional relationships across the world and my know how to:
- Put together the best legal team for any big or small, domestic or international dispute;
- Help lawyers enter markets which they are not familiar with;
- Guide generations of legal talent in both their personal and professional development.
Professional relationships across the world
My clients include silks, leading individuals and talented juniors from UK, Australia, Singapore, India, Malaysia and Pakistan. These lawyers practise as counsel, arbitrators, mediators, expert determiners and etc.
One of my proudest achievements is how I led the way in promoting the English Bar on the international stage during my time at Essex Court Chambers. I have always travelled extensively to grow and maintain client relationships, and I will continue to do so with DGIC.
Another side
of David
As someone who loves to travel, I have held a private pilot’s license ever since I was a junior clerk. I also enjoy cycling. In 2021, by cycling & raising charity funds, I paid tribute to my late wife.
